SESSION FEES: INVESTMENT

ON PORTRAITS. I am a family lifestyle photographer that specializes in maternity and newborns photography in a style modernly described as photo-journalistic. That is, I delight to capture life as it is actually happening, not as we imagine it to be.

*I offer family portrait mini-sessions, a few times a year to keep your wall pictures up-to-date.

ON LOCATION. Session location is so important to the feel of your session and Salt Lake City does not disappoint with its variety of backdrops.  I have done the work for you in finding wonderful places to photograph, so unless we are doing an in-home newborn session, you will have your choice of iconic local locations, woodsy trails, and golden fields, to name a few. I only photography early in the morning (sunrise sessions) or late afternoon/early evening (sunset sessions) to capture the best light. Your session will be fun, enjoyable, and easy.  I can guarantee lots of genuine smiles and organic moments.  I want to give you your family’s story and I want you to fall in love with your family every time you look at your photos.

Sessions that take place outside of a 25 mile range from 84108 are subject to a travel charge.  I LOVE to travel though so do not let this stop you from booking a session! Please inquire here about booking a session in your neighborhood.

ON GALLERIES. Your gallery of edited images will be ready within 2 weeks following your session (often sooner!). You can choose your favorites through the ease of an online gallery. Facebook and social media are great, but PRINT these photographs out my friends; display them on your wall – fall in love with the moment over and over again! 🙂

ON STYLE. Please review my portfolio to make sure our styles are compatible.  I tend to avoid the obvious and posed shot, while still realizing the need for at least one traditional portrait for Christmas cards, etc.  But truly, I love real and unplanned moments, and if you are ready to get deep into the trail or frolic through the fields - I am right there with you!  I value an atmosphere that is warm, an interaction that is natural, and an experience that is organic.
